Hi! I'm Jess.

For the past 6 years, I've been designing software across startups and enterprises, trying to simplify the complexities of day-to-day life.

My current approach to solving problems through design is driven by data and collaborative exploration. I believe in defining product strategy through hypotheses validated by experimentation, metrics, and cross-functional discovery.

My work at Google, Workday, and Later included designing seamless onboarding experiences to drive user adoption and conversion for existing products like Google Ads, as well as leading projects end-to-end for new features like Later’s creator marketplace.

I'm most proud of piloting Later's collaborative Feature Discovery Framework, that helped align design, product, and engineering on product strategy early on, reducing ambiguity and clarifying feature direction. This new approach improved efficiency and coordination not just cross-functionally, but across organizations.

On the personal side, I enjoy watercolor painting, playing volleyball, and more recently, I've been composing music for a short film. If you're into music, art, or have any questions about design, let's chat!
